The Union is an umbrella organisation for all faculty and staff employees of the trade Union Committee of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers (Tashiit), “Miramarska” academic Lyceum, Road center of raising the qualification, training and retraining under Tashkent railway transport engineering Institute. Currently, the number of members of the trade Union of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers is 968 people.
The Union of the Tashkent Institute of engineers of railway transport consists of 9 constituent departments such as “Administration”, “1 Hottel”, “2 Hottel”, “ground training center, training and retraining under Tashkent railway transport engineering Institute”, “Mirabadskiy” academic Lyceum as well as from such departments as “Economics”, “Construction”, “Mechanical” and “Organization of transportations and transport logistics”. According to the staff list in the trade Union Committee of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers working Chairman, chief accountant and clerk.
The trade Union Committee operates on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the laws “on public associations in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “on trade unions, the rights and guarantees of their activities”, the Civil code, the Labour code and the Statute of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The trade Union Committee of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers was established on the basis of the “Sectoral agreement” between the railway workers of Uzbekistan and the Union of transport builders. The collective agreement of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers for 2018-2020 was signed by the employer.
The trade Union Committee of the Tashkent Institute of railway engineers carries out its activities for the implementation of such goals as the protection of the constitutional rights of each member of the organization, such as the right to work, work in fair conditions, the right to protection against unemployment, achieving the introduction of a socially fair system of remuneration and labor regimes, monitoring the drafting and execution of collective agreements, preserving and expanding guarantees and benefits for members through a collective agreement, compliance with labor legislation, laws on the protection of labour and the environment, compliance with rules, standards, social dialogue and social partnership, the systematic introduction of professional development and retraining of personnel, as well as the development of programs aimed at protecting the labor and socio-economic interests of workers and young people, cooperation with local state and public authorities, cultural, educational, health, physical and sports activities for Union members and their families.
